John has been Eastside's minister since the beginning of 2005.  He has been the preaching minister at churches ranging in size from 35 to over 1,500 members in Nebraska, Kansas, Oregon, Indiana and now Washington.  John strives to preach on relevant topics in an easy-to-follow style so that people are drawn closer to Jesus.

John and his wife, Kim, have three daughters:  Andraea, Jenna and Jaci.  Although John and Kim are both originally from the Los Angeles area, they have family that migrated north to the Seattle area and are just a quick drive away. 

When not working at the church, John volunteers as a Firefighter/EMT with a local city's fire department.  He enjoys meeting people and ministering to them in both physical and spiritual ways.

Linda has been serving the Eastside Christian Church family for several years, wearing all the hats associated with Administrative Assistant, Secretary, Go-To Person and generally holding everything together. Linda and husband John are a great team, and wonderful servants of the Lord. You might find the Wesleys at Third Place books or some other local venue along with John's Big Band, Mach One, playing the classics from Count Bassey or The Bennie Goodman Orchestra.
